Idea 57. Avocado Sandwich with Tofu on Sourdough.

This is my favorite sandwich to make to day! It’s super easy, takes like 5 min, super delicious and it’s high in protein. Perfect for any time of the day, or 3 times a day…

It has 18 gr of protein (you can add more tofu for more protein), and it’s made without contributing to the suffering of innocent beings! They don’t deserve none of that, and especially since we don’t need meat to get our protein! The body makes the same protein eating meat or tofu!!! (fact check me)

So today, instead of eating the blood and veins of an animal that is an individual! try tofu instead in your sandwich and let me know what you think <3

Here we go:

Ingredients with their approximate protein breakdown:

  • 2 slices Sourdough Bread ~8 g protein
  • 1/2 Avocado ~1.5 g protein
  • 50 gr Tofu ~6 g protein
  • Black Pepper ~0 g protein
  • Salad Mix ~0.5 g protein
  • Alfalfa Sprouts ~1 g protein
  • Pickles ~0.5 g protein
  • 1 tsp Mustard ~0.2 g protein
  • 1 tsp Chili Paste ~0.2 g protein
Total protein (approx.)

≈ 18 grams of protein

Notes*

-Sourdough bread stands out for its natural fermentation process, which can make it easier to digest and more gut-friendly than many other breads. The slow fermentation helps break down gluten, allowing your body to absorb minerals such as iron, magnesium, and zinc more effectively. It also tends to have a lower glycemic impact, meaning it may cause a slower rise in blood sugar compared to regular white bread. On top of that, sourdough contains beneficial organic acids and can support a healthier gut environment, while still providing energy, some protein, and a satisfying texture and flavor that makes meals more enjoyable.

Directions:

  1. ON A SLICE OF SOURDOUGH BREAD, ADD TOFU, AVOCADO, BLACK PEPPER, SALAD MIX, ALFALFA SPROUTS, PICKLES, CHILI CRUNCH & MUSTARD.
  2. COVER WITH ANOTHER SLICE OF SOURDOUGH BREAD.
  3. ENJOY.
