This is my absolute favorite drink! It’s incredibly refreshing and bursting with delicious flavor, easily one of the best things you’ll ever taste. Coconut water is best for hydration, especially after dancing, exercise, hot weather, mild dehydration or just any time of the day! Because it’s rich in electrolytes like potassium and sodium, it helps replenish fluids and support muscle function. It’s also great for post-workout recovery, as it can help reduce muscle cramps and restore lost minerals naturally. But! Since I don’t really like the taste (to me it tastes like licking carpet), I pair it with watermelon, which is another best thing for hydration and it’s ridiculously good. Also! This b* has 13gr of protein. Let me know what you think.
Here we go:
Ingredients with their approximate protein breakdown:
- 1/2 Watermelon ≈ 11 g protein
- 2 cups Coconut Water ≈ 2 g protein
Estimated total protein:
≈ 13 g protein!!!
Notes*
-Watermelon is a hydrating, nutrient rich fruit made up of over 90% water, making it excellent for staying refreshed and supporting overall hydration. It’s a good source of vitamin C, which helps boost the immune system and support healthy skin, as well as vitamin A for eye health. Watermelon also contains antioxidants, which may help protect cells from damage and support heart health. Its natural sugars provide a quick source of energy, while its high water and fiber content can aid digestion and help you feel full. Paired with coconut water they make a powerhouse hydration combo.
