Idea 53. Baked Oats With Love.

Hey you. If you happen to read this little message, just know, you don’t need to eat meat to get your protein. Here is a cute little dish that packs 55 gr of protein. If you feel like you don’t want to contribute to the meat industry anymore and to animal suffering, here is something you can try instead! This is a dairy and sugar and gluten free recipe, and it’s powerful. Ripe banana is known to fight cancel cells. The oats, fruits, and dates supply carbohydrates, giving you steady energy along with quick fuel, while also contributing fiber that helps digestion and gut health. Healthy fats from walnuts and hemp seeds provide omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, which support heart and brain health. Additionally, ingredients like berries, kiwi, and banana are rich in vitamins, antioxidants, and minerals such as vitamin C and potassium, and the coconut water adds hydration and electrolytes. The protein powder (I use the chocolate one from Birdman), the ripe banana & the dates, add natural sweetness to the recipe, so you don’t need sugar either. Only the good stuff. It’s super fast, and it’s delicious and nutritious. I hope you enjoy it!!! Much better than a dead animal…

Here we go:

Ingredients with their approximate protein breakdown:

  • 1/2 cup Oats ~5 g protein
  • 1 cup Coconut Water ~0.5 g protein
  • 1 scoop Protein Powder ~31 g protein
  • 1/2 cup Walnuts ~9 g protein
  • 1/2 cup Frozen Mixed Berries ~0.5 g protein
  • 2 tbsp Hemp Seeds ~6.5 g protein
  • 1 Banana ~1 g protein
  • 1 Kiwi ~0.8 g protein
  • 3 Dates ~0.5 g protein
Total protein (approx.)

≈ 55 grams of protein!!!

Notes*

-Most of the protein comes from the protein powder, walnuts, oats & hemp seeds.
-If you wanted to push this toward ~60–65 g protein without changing the taste, you can increase protein powder to 1.25 scoops and add 1 more tbsp hemp seeds.

Directions:

  1. Preheat your oven on 350F.

  3. Mix the oats, protein powder, coconut water. (you can also add cinnamon and/or cocoa and/or cardamom and/or all of that, and make it even better)
  4. Add the mashed banana, walnuts, mixed berries and mix everything together.
  5. Bake for 25 min, on 350F.
  6. Let it cool down and add kiwi ,dates & hemp seeds.
