I am pretty sure nobody reads this little paragraph, and this recipe is simple enough that it probably doesn’t need one anyway. That gives me the freedom to write whatever is on my heart. Then again, I would have done that regardless, because I believe life asks only one thing of us, to be who we truly are. I believe we each arrive in this life carrying something only we can offer, and the journey is not about becoming someone else, but rather sharing exactly who we are, as a medicine, for this world. That’s your purpose.
My life has been devoted to the pursuit of truth. Every day I ask the Universe to dissolve everything that isn’t real and to strip away every illusion, every inherited belief, every identity I have mistaken for myself, every attachment that no longer resonates with the deepest part of my being. I don’t want an easier path, I want a true one. Truth is the only place from which I can live. I would rather lose everything that isn’t aligned with my soul than spend a lifetime holding onto what was never meant for me.
Anywaaaaaaaaaaaays, here is the recipe for the hot dogs.
Here we go:
Ingredients:
- 2 Vegan Egg Roll Wraps
- 2 Plant Based Sausage
- 2 tbsp Flaxseed Meal
- Mustard (optional)
- Pickles (optional)
- Hot Sauce (optional)
Flax Egg Directions:
Combine 2 tablespoons of flaxseed meal (or ground chia seeds) with 6 tablespoons of lukewarm water. Stir well, set aside 10 minutes until it looks like eggs in texture.
*Use this in a recipe as an egg replacer.
Notes*
-You can wrap the sausage in two wraps for a fuller taste.
-I like to always add dipping sauces (in this case mustard), on the rim of the plate, so that way I can swipe from the rim when I go for a dip.
Directions:
- PREHEAT YOUR OVEN ON 375 F.
- MAKE THE FLAX EGG AND SET IT ASIDE FOR 10 MIN.
- BRUSH THE WRAP INSIDE WITH THE FLAX EGG.
- PLACE THE SAUSAGE IN THE MIDDLE.
- WRAP IT.
- BRUSH THEM THOROUGHLY WITH THE FLAX EGG OUTSIDE TOO AND PLACE THEM ON A BAKING SHEET.
- BAKE FOR 35 MIN.
- ENJOY.
