I mean, I just…love…toast! Who doesn’t… I also LOVE to experiment with them. Here is my latest creation. Cooked beans with tofu and mustard. Try it. Let me know what you think. Here we go:
Ingredients:
- 2 slices Bread
- 1 cup Beans (I cooked mine with Tomatoes, Green Beans, Nutritional Yeast, Flax Meal and looots of spices to my taste)
- 100 gr Tofu
- Mustard
- Hot Sauce
Total protein (approx.)
≈ 40 grams of protein!!!

-This is an excellent meal, providing an amazing amino acid profile from beans, tofu, and bread, along with plenty of fiber, iron and omega-3.
Directions:
- COOK THE BEANS WITH VEGGIES OF YOUR CHOICE. I USED GREEN BEANS & TOMATOES. ADD NUTRITIONAL YEAST AND FLAXSEED MEAL FOR A NUTRIENT DENSE MEAL. ALSO ADD YOUR SPICES TO TASTE.
- TOAST THE BREAD.
- ADD THE BEANS.
- ADD A SLICE OF TOFU.
- DRIZZLE MUSTARD & HOT SAUCE.
- ENJOY.
