Idea 79. Sweet & Sour Farro Bowl.

Oke, now do the same bowl, but this time instead of Teriyaki, try Sweet and Sour Sauce! Let me know which one you like better. I love you.

Here we go:

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup Farro (cooked)
  • 1 tbsp Nutritional Yeast
  • 1 tbsp Flax Meal
  • 1 cup Salad Mix
  • 200 g Tofu
  • 5 Cherry Tomatoes
  • 1/4 Onion
  • 3 Olives
  • 1/2 Avocado
  • 1/2 cup Chickpeas
  • 2 tbsp Sweet & Sour Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Pumpkin Seeds
  • 1 tsp Black Seeds
  • Black Pepper
  • Sun Dried Tomato
Total protein (approx.)

≈ 46 grams of protein!!!

  • Salad Mix: vitamin K, folate, antioxidants
  • Pumpkin Seeds: magnesium, zinc, iron, copper
  • Tofu: calcium, iron, protein
  • Chickpeas: folate, iron, fiber, potassium
  • Flax Meal: omega-3s, fiber, magnesium
  • Nutritional Yeast: B vitamins, protein, often B12
  • Avocado: potassium, vitamin E, healthy fats

Directions:

  1. COOK THE FARRO ACCORDING TO PACKAGE INSTRUCTIONS. MIX IN THE NUTRITIONAL YEAST & FLAX MEAL WHILE IT’S WARM. (feel free to add more spices)
  2. ADD THE SALAD MIX IN A BOWL.
  3. DROP ALL OTHER INGREDIENTS.
  4. DRIZZLE SWEET & SOUR SAUCE, BLACK & PUMPKIN SEEDS & PEPPER.
  5. ENJOY.
