If you are European you would understand our fascination with sandwiches. These last couple days I’ve been playing with making them delicious, while plant based, because there is absolutely no need to eat a suffered dead animal to thrive, but also there is no need to eat boring :) And I have to say, this didn’t disappoint. Try it, let me know what you think.
Here we go:
Ingredients with their approximate protein breakdown:
- 1 slice Bread ~ 4 g protein
- 3 Olives ~ 0.1 g protein
- 100 gr Tofu ~ 10 g protein
- 1/2 Avocado ~ 1.5 g protein
- 1 Jalapeno Pepper ~ 0.1 g protein
- 1 cup Hashbrowns ~ 3 g protein
- Mustard ~ 0.2 g protein
- Ketchup ~ 0.1 g protein
Total protein (approx.)
≈ 19 grams of protein!
Notes*
-Avocados are highly nutritious and provide a wide range of health benefits. They are rich in heart healthy fats and are excellent source of potassium, which helps regulate healthy blood pressure. They are also high in fiber and they can keep you full for a long time.
Directions:
- I FRYIED THE HASHBROWNS WITH THE JALAPENO FOR 7 MIN ON MEDIUM.
- TOAST THE BREAD.
- PLACE THE TOFU, THE AVOCADO, THE HASHBROWNS WITH THE PEPPER AND DRIZZLE MUSTARD & KETCHUP.
- DON’T FORGET THE OLIVES.
- ENJOY.
