Idea 70. Dark Chocolate Wonton Bites.

Well, I am never bored when I am cooking! I love making food from the heart and give thanks to everything I am consuming. I wanted to try dark chocolate bites with peanut butter, dates and fruit, but I wasn’t sure which fruit will go best. So! I tried them all! Haha. Verdict says….. drumroll please…BANANA! So if today you only have banana, you are all set.

These are entirely plant based, and no farm animals were harmed for me to eat them. It’s super easy to just make the change today and buy plant based wontons instead. Plant based everything instead! Why??? It’s healthier and you’re actively helping the animals <3

Here we go:

Ingredients:

  • Plant Based Wonton Wraps
  • Banana and/or other fruit
  • Peanut Butter
  • Dates
  • Dark Chocolate Chips
  • Cinnamon
  • Coconut Flakes
  • Olive Oil
  • Flaxseed Meal

Flax Egg Directions:
Combine 2 tablespoons of flaxseed meal (or ground chia seeds) with 6 tablespoons of lukewarm water. Stir well, set aside 10 minutes until it looks like eggs in texture.
*Use this in a recipe as an egg replacer.

Notes*

-Papaya seeds help break down protein and ease bloating, while their antimicrobial and antiparasitic properties have been traditionally used to promote gut balance. Papaya seeds also show promise in supporting liver health and detox pathways, reducing inflammation, and protecting cells from oxidative stress, with emerging research suggesting potential benefits for metabolic and cholesterol balance.

Directions:

  1. PREHEAT YOUR OVEN ON 375 F.
  2. MAKE THE FLAX EGG AND SET IT ASIDE FOR 10 MIN.
  3. DICE ALL THE FRUIT AND THE DATES.
  4. BRUSH THE WONTON INSIDE WITH THE FLAX EGG.
  5. PLACE a tsp of PEANUTBUTTER, DATE, FRUIT AND CHOCOLATE CHIPS IN THE MIDDLE.
  6. WRAP IT.
  7. BRUSH THEM THOROUGHLY WITH THE FLAX EGG OUTSIDE TOO AND PLACE THEM ON A BAKING SHEET.
  8. BAKE FOR 35 MIN TOGETHER WITH THE PAPAYA SEEDS.
  9. ENJOY.
