I used to wonder why we’re taught to see kindness as something we reserve only for certain animals, when every living creature wants the same simple things: safety, comfort, and a chance to live peacefully. Why would someone eat a dead tortured innocent animal when you can eat beeeeaaaaaannnnnsssssss and get the same protein?????? There’s something beautiful about choosing a meal that nourishes both your body and your compassion at the same time. A quiet reminder that even small choices can bring a little less suffering into the world. Choose plant based today. I love you.
